WEEK 1

 
Jan. 4 - 8
  1. Jan. 4 --- Hurricane Make-Up Day
  2. Jan. 5 ---Teacher Planning day no school.
  3. Group Projects - All presentations due by Fri. Jan. 8.
    1. As a group create a presentation of some of the possibilities of "visual tension to the eyes."
      1. Present you findings to Mr. D
      2. Each student will Create a uniquely created portrait and does not look like the other student's photos, using Visual Tension to the Eyes.
    2. As a group find a portrait style that interests everyone and a variety of examples of the portrait style.
      1. Present your findings to Mr. D
      2. Each student will Create a portrait in that style that shows you own way of doing it. In other words the photo should have in it something that distinguishes it form the other students work and adds to the portrait.
 
 

WEEK 2

 
Jan. 11 - 15
  1. Group Projects - All individual photos due by Fri. Jan. 15.

      1. This is is a favorite theme of photograpers, for everybody feels loneliness and is deeply moved by it.Here is a new type of problem for you: taking an abstract verbal idea and translating it into a pictorial reality.

Jan. 18 - 22

  1. Monday MLK Day - No school
    1. Fantasy Photo - Due Thurs. Jan. 21.
      1. Each person come up with a idea for a Fantasy Photo. One where you create the illusion of being some where you are not.
      2. The group will help each other to create the illusion in what ever way is necessary. Due Thurs. Jan. 21.
    2. Loneliness - Due Thurs. Jan. 21.
